The steady trove of University of the Philippines-College Admission Test (UPCAT) passers in the history of Montessori De Sagrada Familia continues. Six (6) of its Senior High School graduates proved themselves that they have the courage and determination to make their dreams do come true to be admitted to one of the most prestigious universities in the country.
MDSF warmly congratulates the following Sagradan students who passed the UPCAT 2018: Dana Louise S. Mendoza (BS Public Administration) UP Diliman; Brian Jay M. Delos Santos (BS Computer Science) UP Diliman; Roanne T. Cruz (BS Pyschology and Computer Science) UP Diliman; Aimee Patricia V. Cano (Doctor of Dental Medicine) UP Manila; Junie C, Cruz (BA Business Economics) UP Pampanga; and Rose Grace P. Nogoy (BA Business Economics) UP Pampanga. Mrs. Maria Cristina S. Silamor, School Directress, was overjoyed when she learned that six of their graduates landed in their UP dream.
For the 2018 Class Topnotcher Dana Louise S. Mendoza, “At first I didn’t expect that I will pass because the exam is so tedious… MDSF really helped me to have a good academic foundation in passing the UPCAT,” she said. According to the Senior High School Focal Person, Mrs. Rowena SJ. Jumaquio, she believed that the reason why MDFS is continuously producing passers is because they remain true in their trust to prepare high school students for tertiary education.
Moreover, she encouraged the incoming Grade 12 students to follow the footsteps of their fellow Sagradans in fulfilling their dreams to be admitted in UP and other universities. “First, I believe in your capabilities to take on academic challenges. The school and your teachers would truly support and help you to thread the path of your academic success,” she added.
On the other hand, Roanne T. Cruz and Brian Jay M. Delos Santos, gave a piece of advice to the next UPCAT hopefuls. Bojo reminded them that they should listen to the class discussion and review their lessons for them to get their UP slot. “I’ll just say that the next batch of test takers should not stress about it too much. Stressing about it would just make them lose their focus on the actual test,” Roanne said.
In the end, the entire Sagradan community is truly proud of its graduates in achieving their goals after their stay at MDSF.
