Montessori De Sagrada Familia (MDSF) Sagradan Spikers put up a spirited fight against St. Jean Baptist Academy (SJBA) in Baliwag City Private Schools Association (BaCiPriSA) Meet 2025 Volleyball Girls, but ultimately fell short losing in straight sets, 23-25 and 17-25.
The opening set highlighted the Spikers’ determination, as Amber Agulto’s steady serves, Angela Bayaborda’s powerful spikes, and Lycka Santiago’s defensive saves kept the game neck and neck and nearly stole the set with a score of 23-25.
In the second set, SJBA found their rhythm and limited the Sagradans momentum. Scoring roughly, the Spikers couldn’t overcome SJBA’s consistent gaining, closing the match at 17-25.
Though the scoreboard favored SJBA, the Sagradan Spikers showcased their resiliency and talent, proving that they are able to challenge strong opponents and can rise together as one team.
