With the theme, “Share the Love; We Extend the Care Beyond Limits,” Grade 12 students of Montessori De Sagrada Familia held an outreach program to express their love and support for the children of their community last October 11-12.
Four sections of the said level were assigned to two orphanages in which they held a program that includes song and dance numbers, fun games for the kids and storytelling. They also held a feeding program for them.
Sections Newton and Wharton went to Bahay at Yaman ni St. Martin de Porres in Bustos while sections Einstein and Shakespeare were assigned to Bethlehem orphanage in Baliwag.
As a part of their Philosophy class, the students were asked to do this task in order to apply what they have learned from their subject.
In relation with this, all of the materials and funds used were taken from the hardwork of the students during their Entrepreneurship Activity wherein they were able to donate money from their sales in the said project.
These were all made possible with the help of all the students, the student heads from each section, their Entrepreneurship teacher, Miss Jane Frances Reyes and their Philosophy teachers, Mr. Jared Manalastas and Miss Vanessa Pascual.
