A total of 875 out of 916 (95%) parents from Montessori De Sagrada Familia’s Grade School Department expressed intent to re-enroll their children for the 2025–2026 school year, according to a recent survey via Google Forms.
Reaffirming their trust in the institution’s academic programs and learning environment, feedback revealed that 60% to 80% of parents cited academic programs as the primary reason for their decision. Survey results also showed distinct patterns in parental satisfaction.
Lower-grade school parents (Grades 1 to 3) emphasized the impact of the school’s people, practices, and culture in fostering a positive learning climate.
Meanwhile, Upper Grade School parents (Grades 4 to 6) highlighted the learning environment and facilities as key factors, followed closely by extracurricular programs.
Beyond academics, parents recognized the value of MDSF’s wide-ranging extracurricular offerings. Students engage in subject-based and interest-based clubs. In sports, students train in basketball, swimming, football, gymnastics, and taekwondo, among others, reinforcing MDSF’s commitment to holistic education.
However, 41 respondents indicated uncertainty or a decision to leave. Among them, 26 confirmed they would not re-enroll, while 15 remained undecided. However, relocation and financial constraints emerged as common factors influencing these decisions. Some Lower Grade School parents cited school admission policies as additional considerations.
The survey, conducted through Google Forms, reflects the school community’s ongoing dialogue with its primary stakeholders: parents. As the institution prepares for the next academic year, addressing concerns and sustaining its strengths remain a priority for the school to always do better, dream bigger, and soar higher.
