4. What is the age requirement for preschoolers?

They should be at least 3 years old in June.

5. What are the requirements for enrollment?

6. What is the purpose and scope of entrance exams?

The purpose of the MDSF Entrance Examination is the school’s tool in assessing the present cognitive ability of the student applicant in the following areas: MATH, SCIENCE and ENGLISH.

7. What if my child fails the entrance exam?

The student applicant may be placed under academic probation for the school year.

9. Do you give discounts to parents with 3 or more children?

Yes.

Families with 3 enrollees are granted with 5% discount from the tuition fee of the third child.

Families with 4 enrollees are granted with 10% discount from the tuition fee of the fourth child.

10. Do you offer scholarships? What are the requirements?

Yes.

Montessori De Sagrada Familia is granting scholarship to transferees belonging to the top 1 and top 2 of their batch. A letter of certification from the school principal must be submitted in order to avail of the scholarship. For old students who belong to the top 1 and top 2 of their batch, they are given 100% and 50% discount in their tuition fee.

13. How much is the matriculation fees of my child?

14. Does the school charge other fees in the middle of the school year?

There are no additional fees to be paid in the middle of the school year.

However, there are some school activities in selected grade levels that will require payment:

15. What is your policy on refunding school fees

“When a pupil registers in a school, it is understood that he is enrolling for the entire school year for pre-elementary and elementary courses”. (Art. XIII Sec. 62.a of the Manual of Regulations for Private Schools)

A pupil who transfers or otherwise withdraws, in writing, within two weeks after the beginning of classes and who has already paid the pertinent tuition and other school fees in full or for any length of time longer than one month will be charged according to the policies on the refund of tuition and other school fees.” (Art, XIII Sec. 66 of the Manual of Regulations for Private Schools)

a. Ten percent (l0%) of the total amount for the term (that is full amount charged for one school year) if he withdraws within the first week of classes regardless of whether or not he has actually attended classes.

b. Twenty percent (20%) of the total amount for the term if he withdraws within the second week of classes regardless of whether or not he has actually attended classes.

c. A pupil may be charged all the school fees in full if he withdraws any time after the second week of classes regardless of whether or not he has actually attended classes.

d. Where tuition and other school fees are paid for the first month in a monthly installment scheme, no refund shall be given to the pupil when he withdraws any time after the registration period.

e. Miscellaneous and other school fees are non-refundable.

16. Is school uniform included in the payment?

No, but they are available in the Book Store section.

17. How much is the reservation fee? Is it refundable?

Reservation fee is P5,000 and will be deducted on your total payable upon enrollment. No, it is not refundable but can be used once the student comes back and enroll.
