Armed with the desire to promote strong camaraderie among the MDSF teachers, a team building activity was held last June 9 at the school gymnasium.
Building and sustaining a positive team culture in the community is the primary aim of the school administrators in making this event possible to start an excellent school year ahead.
The whole event was facilitated by Traverse Outdoor, headed by Sir Jess Tano, starting off by a warm-up zumba session. Followed by the cheering competition, amazing race, and a series of interactive games that tested and stretched each team’s capabilities and teamwork.
Each team was represented by different colors that as follow: yellow for the preschool dept, white for the elem level 1, red for the elem level 2, green for the high school Group 2, and blue for the high school Group 1. Each team was tasked to cheer “Have fun, feel good for the MDSF! One goal, one school, for the MDSF!” before and after a game. The games were time-based so that the team who completed a certain game with the shortest time earns the highest points.
After finishing the Amazing Race, Sir Jess explained the life’s lesson behind each game – that is to have a strong unity and to gauge each other’s strengths and weaknesses. Meanwhile, white team was hailed as the champion; 2nd Place Green team; 3rd Place Yellow team; 4th place and 5th place respectively for Blue and Red team.
