Showcasing their talents in singing, dancing, and acting, the Grade 10 students of Montessori De Sagrada Familia (MDSF) relived the songs and music of ‘The Rak of Aegis’, March 5.
To be able to unleash their theatrical talents and skills, students from the lower grades witnessed the spectacular performances of Grade 10 students under the supervision of Mrs. Bernadette Harlea, MAPEH 10 teacher. They showcased their exceptional talents in acting, singing and dancing through live performance.
“It was an opportune time for us to show what we have learned in MAPEH and at the same time, create our own stage production, working with the creative side of us,” Argy Gatdula, a Grade 10 student, said.
He also added that the musical was a great way for them to bond with their classmates and to end the school year as one united section.
Meanwhile, Rak of Aegis is a Pinoy Original Musical based on the music of Pinoy Rock Band, Aegis. The music is weaved into a story of resilience amidst calamities and the dream of making it big someday. Featuring songs from the popular 90’s band, Aegis, the play tells the story of Aileen, a young girl with a big voice who dreams of having her video uploaded on YouTube to become viral and eventually be discovered by the big shots.
