To lessen the traffic congestion that adds to the daily morning agony of every commuter in the vicinity of Tangos, the Baliwag Traffic Management Office (BTMO) in cooperation with Montessori De Sagrada Familia will launch a new traffic scheme on Monday, July 17, in response to the concerns raised by Sagradan parents and students over the traffic problem in this area of Baliwag.
Under the new traffic scheme, based on the meeting held last July 12 in the MDSF Conference Room attended by MDSF President Alfredo Santos, Campus Management Officer Joshua Ong, and officials from BTMO headed by Tisoy Santos, steel railings will be added in the center portion of the road to avoid motorists from counterflowing that caused much of the congestion. According to Sir Joshua, there will be designated U-turn areas on both sides few meters away from the school so there is no need to worry if a motorist will turn to the other side.
Aside from the steel railings, a rope will be added between these railings that will be detached after the rush hour or when the need arises.
Upon the implementation of this new traffic scheme, better flow of traffic will be expected by those coming from Baliwag-Candaba area and those who are coming from Baliwag highway and town proper going to the school. Everyone is expected to abide and cooperate with the new system so that everyone may experience better traveling days ahead.
