With truth as their weapon and words as their arsenal, Montessori De Sagrada Familia, Inc. (MDSF) grade school campus journalists, known as The Sagradan Jr. (TSJ), bagged podium finishes at the Division Schools Press Conference (DSPC) Face-Off Rounds on Jan. 30-31 at Dr. Guillermo Dela Merced Memorial School, clinching 13 spots at the Regional Schools Press Conference (RSPC).
Seven Sagradan scribes reigned as Baliwag City division champions: Gab Johann Mananguit (Editorial writing), Daphne Therese Bagolor (Copyediting and headline writing), Megan Edrea Ladao (Photojournalism), Brayden Inigo Lo (Pagsulat ng kolum), Czaira Gwen Nolasco (Pagkuha ng larawang pampahayagan), Ma. Alliyah Juliana Gatuz (Pagwawasto at pag-uulo ng sipi), and Samantha Venice Alejandria (Feature writing).
Veterans Mananguit, Bagolor, Nolasco, Gatuz, and Ladao returned to the press conferences after nearly a year of training, with Ladao securing back-to-back photojournalism titles from the previous school year.
Silver medalists Althea Llouise Villarez (news writing) and Roscoe Jeremiah Tigo (photojournalism) added to the school’s haul, while Johanna Felicity Iledan (news writing), Moira Beatrice Villaroma (column writing), Alyssa Mikaela Panganiban (feature writing), and Gav Andrei de Belen (copyediting and headline writing) took bronze, punching their tickets to RSPC.
