Another Sagradan pride made the entire community proud as the High School Guidance Counselor ranks 6th Place in the recently concluded 2017 Licensure Examination for Guidance Counselors out of hundreds of examinees, October 29-30, 2017.
Ms. Alyssa Genela De Leon, MDSF High School Guidance Counselor, finished her bachelor’s degree in BS Psychology and pursued her Master’s Degree in Guidance and Counseling at Centro Escolar University.
She expressed her feelings when she got the results last September 5 regarding the licensure examination.
“(I felt) it was surreal. I didn’t expect kasi while taking the exam, akala ko ang dami kong hindi tama ang sagot. Saka syempre masaya,” Teacher Alyssa expressed.
She also wants to express her gratitude to several people and organizations for being part of her success.
“Una si Lord, my family then yung mga professors ko, UST RGC Review Team, and yung school for supporting me kahit nung nagmamaster’s pa ‘ko,” she stated.
Teacher Alyssa gave some tips to the future Sagradan examinees for preparing and taking the licensure examination. “You really have to work hard and set specific time for review. Do not memorize the lessons, you have to understand it. Take care of your health. Always have time with the people you love para malessen yung pressure and stress. Relax in taking the exam. Focus. Take your time, but manage it wisely,” she said.
The whole Sagradan community rejoices to the success of Teacher Alyssa for passing and placing in the said licensure examination.
