A veteran singing contestant since Kindergarten from Montessori De Sagrada Familia (MDSF) has showcased once again that nothing could beat a young heart’s determination to sing a dream to the tune of success.
Akiesha Nicole R.Singh, a Grade Two pupil rendered a performance worthy of winning a spot in the upcoming Provincial Meet, after bagging 1st place (Vocal Solo) in the recently concluded Bulacan Private Schools’ Association (BulPriSA) District Meet, Sept.19.
Mrs. Cristina Delos Santos, her coach, shared that Akiesha was refrained from indulging on sweets, cold drinks, among others to take care of her voice.
Through improving the style, facial expression, and gesture in the delivery of the winning piece ”Hesus” popularized by Aegis, the young Champ captivated the panel of judges and made quite an impression to grab the top spot besting 17 hopeful participants in the said competition.
Since the young girl won 4th place last year, she did not stop from continuously practicing her singing prowess and was eagerly supported and cheered on by her family, friends, and teachers.
Even with a short time to prepare for the Provincial Meet this October, Mrs. Delos Santos and Singh will welcome yet another series of sessions.
Meanwhile, the coach is still ecstatic when she said that they had fought a good fight, keeping the faith throughout the race.
