As the month of August ended, the Montessori de Sagrada Familia celebrated Buwan ng Wika 2019 with the theme “Wikang Katutubo: Tungo sa Bansang Filipino.” Sagradans from the elementary department showcased their talents and skills.
The occasion was held in the MDSF gymnasium where many Sagradans witnessed the high performances of their fellow students.
At the start of the event, Mrs. Cristina Santos-Silamor, Directress and Principal of MDSF, shared a very inspiring speech that brought a wider view on the theme.
Pupils got more excited as members of the Music Club sang “Kung Hindi Rin Lang” by December Avenue followed by a great performance organized by the students from the Dance Club.
Competitions in different areas took place last August 19-29 and were supervised by the Filipino Club – Quiz Bee, Poster Making, Slogan Making, Tula, Declamation, Sagradans Love OPM, and Spoken Word Poetry.
