Grade 12 students of Montessori De Sagrada Familia Inc. (MDSF) held an outreach program for the Grade 1 pupils of Jacinto Ponce Elementary School last Friday morning, November 22.
All proceeds from the recently held entrepreneurship fair of the Grade 12 students were given to Jacinto Ponce’s Grade 1 students for their academic needs.
The outreach program and entrepreneurship fair entitled ‘Beyond Profit’’ was held for the first time this year with a goal of continuing it for the next batch of Grade 12 students.
Meanwhile, Grade 8 students represented by their officers also contributed to the outreach program by donating the funds they earned from selling their batik T-shirt outputs.
The event started with an opening remark from the two host students, Kyle Matthew Dela Pena of 12-Wharton and Railyn Kim Cruz of 12-Dalton, followed by a prayer led by the Campus Ministry President, Red Magpoc of 12-Dalton.
The event was then followed by games wherein the Grade 1 students participated actively together with their Grade 12 guides.
