‘It is our dream to become an Apple-distinguished school.’’ Director for Academic and Student Affairs, Mrs. Maria Cristina Silamor, said.
Fulfilling its vision to become the Learning Hub for Thriving Creators, Innovators, and Changemakers, Montessori De Sagrada Familia, Inc. (MDSF) launches its partnership with Power Mac Center through a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signing on June 17 at the MDSF Preschool conference.
The partnership marks a significant milestone in the institution’s pursuit of educational excellence. Through this collaboration, the school aims to equip both educators and students with Apple technologies and professional development opportunities that foster creativity, critical thinking, and digital literacy.
Present during the signing are the MDSF administrators, Grade 4 teachers, parents, and Power Mac representatives. Power Mac CEO Mr. Lawrence Sison also expressed his optimism about the partnership, highlighting that this technology integration journey takes time and that we enjoy our walk together.
‘More than providing ipads, this is to prepare students for the future possibilities it will create,’ Sir Jomar Dela Cruz, VP for Academic Affairs.
In preparation for the rollout of a one-to-one iPad program for grade 4 students, grade 4 teachers likewise receive 1 iPad unit from MDSF, equipping the teachers with the same tools that will shape their students’ learning journey. “Quality devices combined with quality learning design create quality learning experiences.” Dela Cruz affirmed.
Parents are also welcoming this initiative of the school. Recognizing that this opens doors of opportunities where their children will not just consume technology but create and innovate with it.
As the school takes a significant step towards educational transformation, the institution remains steadfast in its commitment to be the Learning Hub for Thriving Creators, Innovators, and Changemakers.
”We are co-builders of a future of re-imagined learning,’’ Mr. Jomar Dela Cruz added.
