Experience is a source of knowledge.
Two Sagradan Jr. correspondents who were at the inauguration and turnover ceremony of the Tangos footbridge, June 19, shared their learning experiences from an interview with Mayor Ferdie Estrella.
News writers Frances Nicole Mercado and Gwyneth Jane Umali engaged Estrella to talk about the plans of the local government unit to support the maintenance of the first public footbridge in Baliwag during a luncheon hosted by MDSF after the said event.
Mercado and Umali both admitted that they felt first-time jitters during the short encounter with Estrella but the experience helped them mature as campus journalists.
The two campus journalists considered the interview as part of their training for the 2017 EDDIS II Schools Press Conference, an annual event where young writers all over the district will showcase their journalistic skills.
