Another Sagradan unexpectedly found her way to the Bulacan Private Schools Association (BulPriSa) District III meet and claimed victory that lies beneath her words.
Renee Liana T. Castro, a Grade eight student, under the tutelage of her coach, Ms. Abigail Maclang, reigned as the third placer in BulPriSA’s Extemporaneous Speech competition (Junior High School), held at Living Angels Christian Academy (LACA), September 17.
Castro stated that her family, friends and God were her inspirations as she embarked in her journey to the said contest.
“Kahit mahirap yung training at pagready para sa competition, masaya pa rin siya at worth it,” said Castro.
According to her coach Ms. Abigail Maclang, she is very flexible and has the skill.
“She has the skill in directly constructing and organizing her thoughts about a lot of topics, even when her opponents are from higher level she still managed to fight,” said Coach Maclang.
Castro will advance to the provincial meet and represent BulPriSA District III in the Extemporaneous Speech Contest this coming October.
