To streamline daily commutes and improve accessibility, Montessori De Sagrada Familia (MDSF) recently revamped its longwithstanding benefit for its community with an upgraded purpose-built, two-story apartment complex tailored to continue its accommodation to employees and their families.
MDSF’s president, Mr. Alfredo M. Santos, spearheaded the development from conception last year up to its completion this February, emphasizing the implementation of stringent security measures by installing CCTV surveillance systems, tall gates, fences, strategically placed fire extinguishers, and marked fire exits.
“Gusto talaga natin dito ay organized, magandang samahan at walang aberya, kung may kailangan pa, sabihin lang sa akin,” Santos expressed in an interview.
Located adjacent to the High School campus, the complex offers 22 MDSF employee-exclusive rooms with six units reserved for larger families, offering enhanced comfort and amenities.
Among those eagerly anticipating the transition is Mrs. Grace Bernaldez, head librarian of MDSF. As a seasoned tenant with her family, she is expecting to “migrate” from the MDSF’s old dormitory to the new one this month.
As an acting representative of their homeowners’ group, Bernaldez also lauds the upgraded facilities, citing notable improvements such as enhanced water pressure.
“Ngayon, malakas na talaga ang tubig kahit sabay-sabay may naglalaba, ayos lang. Also, showers were equipped with both hot and cold water, upgraded talaga,” Bernaldez said.
Another employee Mr. Antonio Perlado Jr. says compared to previous apartment offered by the school, this one is a better version because aside from it is new, as a solo renter, he appreciates the swift construction and immediate availability of accommodation.
“In general, I am so happy sa new dorm. Though there will be adjusments, I’m very thankful for this initiative, and Sir Fred of couse dahil sobrang bilis natapos nitong bagong dorm,” Mr Perlado Jr. expressed.
