Equipping the teachers with Apple’s latest teaching technology, Montessori De Sagrada Familia, Inc. (MDSF) grade school leaders and Grade 4 teachers participated in Apple’s Learning with iPad training session to become Certified Apple Teachers at the MDSF Preschool Conference on June 23.
Facilitated in partnership with Basecamp by Power Mac, the training aims to arm the teachers with knowledge and skills on how to maximize the use of iPad in their classrooms.
They also introduce the teachers to Apple’s ecosystem of educational resources, empowering them to create interactive and personalized learning experiences for students.
“I realized that some built-in apps that I usually ignore and leave unused on my iPad are actually very useful tools for education and creativity.” Subject Area Supervisor in Filipino Ms. Andrea Punzalan said.
Through hands-on sessions, the teachers explored Apple’s latest digital learning tools, creative applications, and innovative teaching strategies that will enhance student engagement and collaboration and to prepare them in implementing 1:1 iPad use of incoming Grade 4 students.
The initiative forms part of MDSF’s commitment to becoming the Learning Hub for Thriving Creators, Innovators, and Changemakers. More than providing devices, the program seeks to transform classroom experiences and prepare students and teachers for the possibilities of the digital age.
By pursuing Apple Teacher certification, MDSF educators continue to uphold their dedication to personal growth and excellence in education.
“The certification enhances my confidence in using digital tools to support different learning needs and make lessons more interactive,” Grade 4 Good Manners and Right Conduct teacher Ms. Janine Argumido said.
