As Montessori de Sagrada Familia, Inc. opens School Year 2026–2027, the school marks its 30th year with a renewed sense of direction, purpose, and shared commitment.
Anchored on the theme “Tatlo sa Trenta: Impact, Purpose, Excellence,” MDSF moves forward with three strategic thrusts: Scale the Impact, Deepen the Purpose, and Sustain the Excellence.
For many years, MDSF has been guided by its vision “to become the learning hub for creativity and innovation.” On its 30th school year, the institution now casts an even bolder and grander vision:
“To become the Learning Hub for Thriving Creators, Innovators, and Changemakers.”
In order to realize this vision, MDSF embraces Joyful Learning as its framework for learning, alongside Constructivism as its educational philosophy. Through meaningful experiences, inquiry, creativity, collaboration, real-world application, and active meaning-making, the school continues to nurture learners who are engaged, purposeful, and ready to thrive in a changing world.
The renewed vision also comes with the strengthening of the school’s core values, including the introduction of a new core value: Sense of Community. This affirms the school’s belief that learning becomes more meaningful when students, families, teachers, staff, alumni, and partners work together with shared care, responsibility, and purpose.
In preparation for this direction, MDSF school leaders engaged in a series of strategic planning sessions at the end of School Year 2025–2026. These conversations helped shape the school’s renewed PVMGO and ensured that the institution’s plans, programs, and priorities are aligned with its 30th year direction.
During the summer, the new vision was shared with the school’s middle managers. It was also presented to the faculty and staff during the President’s Meeting. The school’s INSET sessions were likewise aligned with the renewed PVMGO, helping employees understand their role in bringing this vision to life.
The new vision was also introduced to Sagradan families during the Parent Orientation Meeting, emphasizing that the journey ahead is not only for school leaders, teachers, or staff, but for the entire Sagradan community.
As MDSF celebrates 30 years of learning, growth, and community, this grand vision serves as both a direction and an invitation. Becoming the learning hub for thriving creators, innovators, and changemakers is a collaborative journey—one that calls on the shared participation of students, parents, alumni, employees, and all stakeholders.
Together, the Sagradan community moves forward with joyful learning, impact, purpose, excellence, and a stronger sense of community.
