Relive the crown.
Montessori De Sagrada Familia’s (MDSF) group contestants for Collaborative and Desktop Publishing, and Radio Broadcasting and Scriptwriting strive to reach new heights as they compete in the Division Schools Press Conference (DSPC) held at Bajet Castillo National High School today.
After bringing home the bacon for two consecutive years in the Collab event, both in English and Filipino, their skills will be tested once again.
“To be the first group from our school to join the Regionals is our goal,” said Sir Jared Manalastas, Penpushers Adviser and Coach. The English Collaborative Publishing squad is composed of Joshua Ardie Buco, Chloe Niguas, Cylla Michael, Cyrus Sumat, Lester Marfil, Zxyv Lisondra, and Cherine Mangulabnan and Nicole Ante, Woody Santos, Jester Macalino, Karl Ortega, Joshua Esguerra, Fiona Andres, and Radyn Punla for Filipino category.
Meanwhile, Radio Broadcasting team members for English are Drei Bañares, Mark Bolaños, Marah Salvador, Daniella Francisco, Hannah Benitez, Ali Valdizno III, and Hubert Samson and another group from the Filipino team that consists of Vrent Garcia, Aira Gonzalez, Malique Concepcion, Stephen Manahan, Diane Concepcion, Ruel Simbulan, and Argy Gatdula.
“We didn’t expect to qualify for the DSPC because our group was just formed recently, and most of us are neophytes.” On the other hand, Individual qualifiers for the DSPC will face the second stage of their journey tomorrow (September 27) in the same school.
